Dr. Grapenthin is a respected psychologist in the North Atlanta who has been in practice since 2000. She provides therapy and counseling services for individuals and families. As your mental health consultant Dr. Grapenthin will assist you in assessing your life challenges in a clear and concise manner so as to provide a meaningful conceptualization of the issues most impacting your ability to function optimally in your environment. Dr. Grapenthin has over 20 years of experiences working with many issues including anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life changes such as separation, divorce, adoption issues, new school, and parenting challenges. Therapy techniques include a wide variety of strategies including traditional talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, and play therapy depending upon the appropriateness and specific goals. Therapy is a unique relationship between the therapist and the client therefore the direction and process will be directed according to each person’s needs and the individual’s emotional capacity.
